Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup (condensed)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook noodles to al dente; drain. In a skillet, brown beef with onion; drain fat.
  • To the beef, add soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir into a creamy sauce.
  • Stir cooked noodles into the beef sauce. Transfer to a greased 9x13" dish. Top with cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 mins until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand 5 mins before serving.
