Equipment

  • Large Baking Sheet & Parchment Paper For easy spreading and cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (3.5 oz popped) microwave popcorn, popped, unpopped kernels removed
  • 1 cup green candy melts
  • 0.5 cup white candy melts
  • 0.25 cup St. Patrick's Day sprinkles
  • 0.5 cup green mint M&Ms or green candy

Instructions

  • Pop the microwave popcorn according to package directions. Pour into a very large bowl and carefully remove all unpopped kernels.
  • Place green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring well between each, until completely melted and smooth.
  • Drizzle about half of the melted green chocolate over the popcorn. Gently toss with a spatula or hands until lightly coated. Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or large platter.
  • Melt the white candy melts in a separate bowl using the same microwave method.
  • Immediately drizzle the melted white chocolate all over the popcorn. While still wet, generously scatter the sprinkles and green M&Ms over the top.
  • Let the popcorn sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely. Break into clusters and serve or package.

Notes

Pro Tips: For safety and the best texture, take a minute to pick out all unpopped kernels from the popcorn before you start. To prevent clumpy chocolate, melt candy melts in short microwave bursts, stirring well between each. Add your sprinkles immediately after drizzling the white chocolate so they stick. For easy cleanup, spread the popcorn on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
