- 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
- to taste salt and black pepper
- 0.5 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 6 slices American cheese, halved
- 0.5 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 0.25 cup finely diced white onion
- 0.5 cup dill pickle slices
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice rolls in half horizontally. Place bottom halves in a 9x13" dish. Season beef, press evenly over rolls to form one large patty.
Bake for 15-20 mins until beef is cooked. Carefully drain all excess grease from the dish.
Spread Thousand Island dressing over meat. Layer cheese, lettuce, onion, and pickles. Place top half of rolls on top.
Mix melted butter with Worcestershire sauce. Brush over rolls, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake 10-15 mins more until golden.
Let cool 5 mins. Slice along roll perforations to create 12 sliders. Serve warm.
Pro Tips: For non-soggy sliders, be sure to drain the excess grease from the cooked ground beef thoroughly before adding the sauce and toppings. Using Hawaiian sweet rolls adds the perfect touch of sweetness. For another incredible party sandwich, try our easy Chopped Chicken Bacon Ranch Subs.
